SS Performance owner Samantha Speed is an entrepreneur, competitor, coach, and lifelong horsewoman based in Ontario. As the owner of Erie Wind Stables, she is actively involved in training, coaching, breeding, and competing within the reining and ranch horse industries, showing in organizations including National Reining Horse Association, Ontario Reining Horse Association, American Quarter Horse Association, American Paint Horse Association and Ontario Paint Horse Club.

Before becoming a full-time entrepreneur, Samantha earned a university degree in Radiation Treatment, along with other diplomas and worked as an Operations Manager for a Fortune 500 company, building a strong foundation in leadership, organization, and business development. Her journey is also shaped by resilience ~ as a childhood cancer survivor, she brings determination, perspective, and grit to both her personal and professional life. Today, she combines her business background, passion for the western performance industry, and commitment to mentorship to grow successful equine and western lifestyle brands while supporting the next generation of riders.
